Ah @ViewAhead I’m mostly on my iPhone … so thankfully I don’t gt too much extraneous ‘stuff’ on a smaller screen. That explains it.

 

Yes, I’ve seen that now you’ve brought it to my attention @ViewAhead. It says random photo, and the one I can see is from 2015. I don’t know if it will change, I’ll keep my eyes open.

The random photos seem to come from albums in the gallery @ViewAhead.

 

Thanks @shiney Have to confess I never use smileys so it doesnt occur to me to look there.

 

If you hover over all the little icons, either at the bottom right of the post or the smilies it will tell you what each one is.

Thank you @Loofah and all of the lovely GC Admin for all your help and making us feel so welcome. It’s transformed what could’ve been a sad, even traumatic time … much gratitude is due

 

I will be grateful GW folk have transported themselves here because I had grown very fond of them and would have felt upset if they'd gone, vanished for good into the ether. Being here has also encouraged me to post on the wonderful GC more regularly than I did. Now whether that's a good thing or not for everyone, I really couldn't say for sure...
ps the thumbs up smiley will always to me look like someone is holding a knife and fork, waiting for their dinner.
