      Another take on GW.
      Our plot thickens.
Would we really want the razzmatazz of Top Geer ,or Bake off ?
But an hour long would be good.
Never mind Beechgrove is back on Sunday.
      Win Win for us gardeners.

Gardeners's World Monty Don hits out at BBC

Did you see the devine Abigail's garden on GW last Friday.
She was showing Joe Swift around her City garden,Joe noticed she had some plastic plants.
She said they not called plastic but "fau botanicals"......... :hapflowers2:
        She made me smile.:loll:

Was that the lady @roders who's garden was jammed pack full of plants and trees? It was ok but to me it was a bit too crowded with stuff and I found it a bit too dark, but that is just my own opinion

Perhaps If they gave GW more money then Monty Don might finally go out and buy himself a new outfit as I dislike him wearing that purple suit in every gardening programme he is on:snork: Oh wait though I am sure I read that he is now worth a bob or to or was that someone else?

What I would like to see is Monty sowing different types of seeds and showing the viewers how to split up bulbs like Erythroniums or how to propagate lily bulbs, daffodils,by cutting up the corms etc.I have had thirty seven years of garden presenters showing us all how to grow to grow tomatoes and grapes,we want something slightly different. Please:biggrin:

Still can't beat Chris Beardshaw as a garden Presenter:wub2:

PS!i do so love reading the comments in these articles...

            :wallbanging: Gardeners snookered again.

Monty says BBC are more interested snooker pots than garden pots.
He has taken a "potshot" at the BBC for regularly replacing Gardeners World with cheap snooker coverage ,so we have no GW this Friday night.
            Jolly bad show I say.

Monty was right to speak out........not a lot on the tele for us gardeners. :noidea:
However, Beechgrove is always good and I enjoy Gardening Australia on line. :)

I agree, roders...maybe the BBC should move GW from BBC2 to BBC4, then there won't be any needless cancellations.
