Good morning all: I need to see a witch doctor indeed, or perhaps, one who knows voodou. But we won't go there.

Shame that there hasn't been a lot of rain and even it has now stopped.

@alp Google the Buteyko Method mouth taping for better sleep. :dbgrtmb:

You don't need a witch doctor as it's a well recognised method.

              Good morning everyone.

How are all your wind problems:heehee:..... easing up a bit now I hope:fingers crossed:

Going out to inspect the damage in a minute or three. The first casualty is the Buddleja as I noticed it last night as I drew the curtains on the havoc being inflicted:thud:

Love Spring Watch too @alp, definitely a ' must see'

Well have a hair Tousling Tuesday......watch out for flying Toupees!:ouch1:

@shiney Sooo kind of you. I have no problem sleeping. I did yoga when I was a group sec in London. During the session, the accountant literally snored at the end of it. I have always benefited from these yoga sessions and sleeping is not a problem for me. I was just so sleepy last night, cold and sleepy and after dozing on and off for 2 hours, I could still manage a deep slumber:yikes:. Woke up at 4 and got up at 5pm as the air was cold. Thank you for the kind thought. I wish I had known about this as my autistic son had trouble falling asleep when he was young. He told me that he wanted to sleep between us as his mind was darting here and there. Poor thing and his unsympathetic and pragmatic mum just told him to take deep breaths and try to sleep again. Love him so much and he's 22 now.

The more I look at this forum, the more I like it. So many lovely photos, and there is ALREADY a lovely thread started by @Kandy about Spring Watch of which I am a big fan. The knowledge of the presenters is just amazing..

Ooops, @Upsydaisy You sprang me a surprise .. Buddleia will regrow very readily, and I hope there is no more damage. Where I live is too built up. As long as my garage roof stays, I am not complaining. I need the wind to sweep away the exhaust fumes from the road outside. The diesel is especially horrible, and also other man-made toxic fumes. The rain clears the air and moisturises the bone dry soil. Wonder why weather reporters also treat rain in a negative light. I feel so sorry for the East Anglian farmers when there is no rain... Hope all your vegs and fruits have a proper drink ...

@alp, and everyone, the Buteyko Method of breathing is also good for asthmatics.

Wild wet weather here today - definitely too wet for gardening, or even to walk the dog!

@Clare G Agree. I'm just east of London. Just outside, but is still a London borough. Rain always escapes us, not today.. Thank heavens. I need it BADLY!
