That's very kind of you Aym/Alp, I feel the same about your stunning close-ups. They do indeed! Entry was £10.. & a little in between seasons, lots of foxgloves, dahlias and mixed borders just starting but had missed most of the rhodo's. The plant shop there is also heavily over priced. Like you, I prefer Wisley. I have made a note of end of June/July like you suggested for a visit. We joined the RHS, as tesco were offering a membership for club card points. Also secured some tickets for Hampton Court members day, not sure I can handle the regular hustle and bustle this year

 

meconopsis .. which I raised from seeds from @zenj and from ebay .. I bought so many of them. Only these two manage to survive..

 

Over priced as it belongs to the royal family. From the planting and the laziness of it, i don't like it much. If I were you, I would go for NT properties.. Most of them have lovely garden.. Waddesdon Manor has a lovely topiary and orangery.. When you go to Wisley, make sure you go to the planting area - massive area for planting .. Tesco clubcard points are really useful. We used them to go to Longleat .. Mark, you do have some very lovely plants... which impress me no end.
