Thanks, yes i get very hot with the brace, have to keep putting talcum powder on. Got another 4 weeks. It doesn't help when I've just put the oven on to cook 7lb of rhubarb.

I'm going to cook my rhubarbs, but probably not with with the oven. My house is now littered with my son's stuff...ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! On top of the heat .... and the terrible traffic noise coming into the house because I have to open the window to let the air flow...

 

@alp good idea not to use the oven. I've got to make some marmalade, but not this week.

 

Yes, not very nice when the mercury hit 30c..more where I live..
