Mark56 I prefer to see nurseries rather than Stowe, but it doesn't seem fair to drag my son along .. I still can't overcome my shock of getting my salvia amistad and I am taking cuttings already..

@Upsydaisy Thank you. Trouble is we have been to these places twice.. Will post some more pics tomorrow. Won't set off until 9am. And will water all my plants. I feel sorry for my ex.. Tooooooo many for him to water. He made me laugh when he said the strawberries must have some water.... That, sadly, was not the top of my list.

Ahh never mind, I can never tire of going back to see NT properties , loss count of how many times we've been to Mottisfont! Quite often we skip the houses and just enjoy the gardens as they tend to change monthly ! Always find something new to see.

          Safe journey....have fun !

Good morning to all: @Upsydaisy I don't mind going there every week in June.. Fabulous display. When we drove more than an hour there, there were about 3 rose shrubs flowering.. but the mulberries were delicious (unless I confused it with another place) Love the history of Coughton House and the topiary of Packwood House. An hour and 10 minutes of watering. The money is like the Sussex chalk cliff, all toppling into mother earth ..

Fantastic flowers and lovely pics, @Upsydaisy can tell you had a thrilling day there! Wish I were there.

Morning to all who drop by.
Lovely bright start to the day , but it is said to cloud over a bit later.

Had a fabulous day yesterday, despite the roses being past their best. Couldn't have faced going there during the heatwave as it would've been sweltering in the walled garden!

I was very good and managed to resist buying any plants.........but my sister crumpled and gave in!:snork:

@alp I've googled some of the places you are going to, they look fab. Have a really super holiday:dbgrtmb:

Must dash as I've got an early hosp app.and hubs hates hitting the morning rush hour traffic!

                  Have a Fruitful Friday everyone!
