Ok Alp the ''lovely'' :heehee::nonofinger: Tetters has obliged with a photo of the good ol' handkerchief tree.... now it`s your turn, and I would like to see a photo of all of your garden, to see what is planted with what, and how all those gorgeous flowers look in their settings...please.

Afraid I don`t know where this special salvia nursery is....don`t get out much. :dunno:

@Tetters Can't really have a photo of my whole garden.. Even though it is a small one.

My planting is where there is a space, I will stuff the plants in. Often, the new plants kill the old ones underneath.. So there is no rhyme or reason on what goes with what? It's like a bull in the china shop. Planted nicotiana in the front, only to find it is about 4 foot tall. .. Learn on the fly...

For gardening idea, @Upsydaisy is your model .. I have actually got the place name after googling. Must make a point to go to one NT place a week. Shame I didn't go to Ashwood. But never mind. I have been very happy with where I have been to.

      I heard my name mentioned........what have I done?:spinning:

Well the rain has arrived:hapydancsmil::yahoo::yahoo:....a steady flow for about 5 hours now, and think it's set to stay until Friday:yes::yes::yes:

Have now sowed 9 trays of seeds for next year...Wallflowers( My fair Lady), Aubrieta(Purple Cascade), Veronica(Blue Carpet), Coreopsis(Mardi Gras), Alyssum(Golden Queen), Campanula(Cups and Saucers), Bellis Perennis(Pomponette Mix), Aquilegia(Mckana Giants),Primula Auricula(Douglas Prize Mix)....and now that I have stocked up on compost more to follow soon:yahoo:

Love this early planning stage....went for taller more floaty flowers this year ( along with all my 'must have' favourites) ...not to sure what my aim is yet for next year:noidea:

@Upsydaisy Lovely garden and the knautias are singing... The bees will love them. I managed to kill mine when I removed the rubble underneath the plant.

I have nothing to show in my garden as most of it is taken up by hellebores. I learned from @Verdun and I planted some dahlias in between and now the dahlias are still invisible among the big helleborus leaves. Isn't that scandalous? Besides, most of my plants are in pots..

Good morning all, Love your macro knautia. @Upsydaisy . Stunning. Yes, rain has finally come and now gone. Very happy :hapydancsmil:. At least, I don't have to use metered water for 2 weeks.

@Verdun I don't need to go to Ashwood if you open your garden to me. I think yours would be better.

@alp my helebores take over with the big leaves. I was thinking of thinning them out, but the bees haven't got much that time of year.

Morning all, thanks for your lovely comments .
Must say our lawn looks absolutely awful in the pics ( not quite so bad in real life!) This lovely rain will quickly work it's magic on it I'm sure.

Haven't checked the water butts yet but hopefully they are nice and full.

Must dash early hospital app awaits me.

Have a Wonderful Wet Wellie Wearing Wednesday.
