Alas, I can never be a granma alp :rasp:
Yes I do love Cornwall Upsy. Take it for granted I guess, the beaches and pretty mild climate. I can remember the beaches in Australia where I spent a lot of my early childhood so its in my blood now.
(Ssssh! Our local beach is pretty big too and prob best around but dont tell too many)

@Logan Amazing - must have been a warm day for you. A good rest for the leg. From now on, I must concentrate more on fruits. I have about 12 black raspberries - not bad for the first year. Strawberries I declare defeated by slugs and not enough rain.. Shame. When I watered the pots, the strawberry aroma wafted around me.

IMG_0469.JPG IMG_0471.JPG I now have clematis envy Alp.

Enjoying the second flush of Delphinium 'Blue Bird', the colour astounds me. Off to Hampton Court early in the morning, hopefully to bring back lots of goodies. :dancy:

@alp thanks, knee is a lot better, it wasn't very hot today, had some rain this morning. your pics are amazing, you do have a lot of flowers. Must be very colourful in your garden. Don't grow strawberries, don't get a lot. Next door gave me a framberry plant. Looks like a strawberry, but i think it's crossed with a raspberry. Growing fruit is very rewarding.
Just watched the first episode of hospital, they were treating people from the Westminster terror attack on 22nd of march. They do a really great job.It was on BBC 1 9pm.

@Mark56 Just love delphiniums - lilac is so beauty and your blue is intense and I had a neon blue at the front. I didn't chop off my lilac and they have now gone to seeds. Perhaps, I should have done. growing from seeds is so tedious. I prefer taking cuttings from the base. Hope you have a memorable day at Hampton Court - a superb setting, far better than Chelsea or indeed any other.. Enjoy, Mark!

@Logan I'm taking cuttings of my black raspberry, might text the guy to see if he has any delicious exotic strawberries. Nice to see all the harvest trays filled with lovely raspberries and beans ..
