@zenj Glorious flowers! We had a cool morning when I had to rescue the water from the leaking butt. It was like a nightmare.. Loads of tubs, containers everywhere and I really I was in drought-hit India..

Well, Andy is gone .. Dream is over for this year and hope Konta will appear in some form of saving grace! So nice to have a woman thus far in the tournament.

Love the Thalictrum and I saw one with very tiny flowers in Hyde Hall Flower Festival fetching £15 each. I must dress up a hit list and go to the Wisley and Hyde Hall one again. I have tons of Asclepias tuberosa seedlings, but no flowers and they are ony about 5 inches tall. Very demoralising .. They were nearly 3 feet tall outside the Greenhouse in Wisley .. So unfair.. Wish I had spent £3.50 on one with flowers now.

Folks, tell me what I should buy in the festivals... so that I can think outside the box .. Thank you in advance.. This time, I must go there EARLY! and do my SHOPPING FIRST!

@zenj Really love the pink double and T&M is marketing Princess Diana similar to that. Both very pretty!

Logan, I was in a hurry when I picked earlier and left a gap between soil and netting. Just a small gap but blackie spotted it.
I picked a couple of ripe figs yesterday and duly stepped on them!
Somebody trying to tell me something :noidea:
Yes indeedy Upsy......looking lovely there :)

I lost every single ripe blueberry in one day this year - unidentified bird, but definitely a bird as they pooped all over the patio in gratitude...... bar-stewards

Apparently, all my blueberries are safe from birds as they are spoilt for choice here in Essex... All sorts of bird foods, even the crows are being well looked after ... Er, too well and they now station on neighbour's roof line and turn on a jamming session!

Or my blueberries are not sweet or ripe enough to tempt them!

Good morning to all. It's grey and fresh this morning. Ideal for lawn mowing .. Might do it tomorrow as the pathway to the garden is jam-packed with containers with rain water...

@alp your blueberries don't have to be ripe for the birds.

@Logan I don't have a lot of ripe blueberries hanging around. Unlike you, I have only a few fruits and they go straight to my mouth! No time for birds to choose!
