The bottom part of our garden used to be part of an orchard 70 years ago. So we have a lot of fruit trees. Some have died or needed taking out but others are still going strong. :dbgrtmb:

    I haven't watched Dr Who since 1965!!!

I remember watching The Quatermass Experiment when it started in 1953 (in black and white on a 9" screen) :old: :heehee:

You're too young to have seen the earlier three series of Quatermass (finished in 1959)

but they brought the third big screen film out in 1967. :blue thumb: There was no TV version between 1959 and 1979 :)

The Daleks were in Dr Who and they started in 1963.

@shiney I must have been too young to remember exactly what the episodes were.

@Verdun That's why I want to adopt you as my uncle.. Well done for relieving that man in the van of £400. My neighbour's wife was terribly injured by a man in a van and that dramatically changed the quality of her life.

I do hope you keep a dog, @Verdun . Living by yourself can be quite vulnerable.

@Perki So nice of you to make an appearance .. Can never forget your flowers. Today, I bought a Gaillardia, another helenium hoopesii.. They remind me of your and @Verdun's flower planting and @Mark56 's photos of Wisley.

@Upsydaisy I hope your sister gets well soon as you've had enough on your plate.

                  Some photos today
