That sounds good Upsy....about your dad and your resolve to do what you want/need to :)
Its so odd, isnt it, how ferociously localised these thunderstorms can be? A couple of miles away it could be so different! :noidea:
Just checked on salvia guanajuato cuttings....a couple have taken and growing now. Guanajuato is my favourite salvia ...I have 3 big clumps but want a whole lot more next year.

@Upsydaisy thanks, the knee is slowly getting better. I've been going for a mile walk every day and these past few days it doesn't feel so stiff. Got a appointment at the hospital gym a week Friday. That will be interesting. It's good that you told your dad.

Evening all. Just watched inside the factory, this week it was making tea. From growing, picking and packing. It was very informative.
It was on last night, BBC 2 8pm

Morning thanks for all your good wishes for my sister.
Hospital phoned to say that they cannot stress enough just how poorly she is......this we have taken as the alarm call that we had hoped wouldn't happen!!
Older sister and a friend of younger sister ( poorly one) are flying up the M3 as I write..sadly I can't make it today....I know that sounds awful...but believe me I really would if I could. I am going up tomorrow and staying for the weekend and have cancelled all my work commitments for the next few weeks,so that I can stay on up there with her.
They have said that once all her vital organs are more stable then she may need transferring to a specialist hospital.

How did this happen.....she is only 54!:noidea:
Please keep fingers crossed for her:fingers crossed:.....thanks.

@Upsydaisy at least you'll be with her tomorrow and a few weeks.I remember you said that she had a gallbladder removed, perhaps it's something to do with that. What does the hospital say? Has she had any problems with her pancreas, has she got diabetes?
All the best, sounds as if she's being treated well.

@Upsydaisy fingers crossed for her. I've just been looking on the NHS website about gallstones. Sometimes they can dislodge and block the opening of the pancreas.
                          :)
