            We only really grew them for their leaves, they are eaten alot where hubs comes from so he cooks with them alot......yummy!

              I love watching Gardeners World, but the flower shows do`nt do it for me for some reason. As for Monty, he only lives a few Miles away.

                      Not sure what was in them that time, he does a variety of different meat/ veg, chickpea combinations and then wraps them in vine leaves before cooking. Might have been lamb in them that time , what is served with them varies too , salad and spiced rice or aubergine, courgettes..endless choices really..whatever is looking lonely in the fridge:snorky:

                        @Logan No end of wonderful fruitful harvest ... Just lovely to see the bounty .. Must be awful with a brace on in this oppressive heat.. and unbearable humidity.

                        @Upsydaisy Quite right. Last time, the most useful downpipe got dislodged and all the liquid gold went to the lawn.. So much to do and so much to repair.
