@"M" did you say for rent?! I may well be needing a new home! :D

Thank you all for your lovely comments. I have been on a bit of vino collapso this evening whilst watching Strictly so sorry if this makes very little sense, however your comments and input and general enthusiasm for everything is very appreciated, thank you all so much for your feedback! :)

I wish i could grow one but sadly not. I couldn't find anywhere to live down your way (my family are from the same county!) which was of an affordable rent which wasn't a room! Everything has suddenly gone all Margate or Whitstable or Dungeness or Folkestone and all hipster and unaffordable. Skeggy 4 life.

                  Other places are available ;)
Heaven forbid the name "Kent" becomes synonymous with Margate, Dungeness or Folkestone  (Whitstable, I can understand :heehee: )

Heehee. Ah no, a lot of the londonnies love the non-Whitstable towns (as they are going that way also) which scares me muchly! I am from the scabby Thames bit originally (the really scabby bits). Kent is excellent but also confusing. Also: plonk.

Not quite sure which parts of the Thames is the scabby parts (although, the Isle Of Dogs took some beating! :heehee: ) but I have heard that a goodly number of Londoners are now favouring Folkestone for its large town houses at silly (compared to London) prices.

As a Maid of Kent, my heart lies here and, as you say, France (aka plonk) is nearer to me than London is :lunapic 130165696578242 5: Happy days! :Wino:

Folks, it's past your bedtimes! (said she primly - I've only had a small glass of the red stuff tonight, but that's a lot for me). A few sore heads in the morning?

Love all the references to places, but M I am most jealous of yours - nearer to France than London.... lovely! Put me down for that cottage - would love to live in a village again! Tops - Skeggy4life? Is that Skegness? Only asking because I was there a month ago for a day while staying in Lincolnshire. Kent is lovely, as is Bucks. My aunt used to live in Amersham, beautiful place!
