I explained to Mrs DAG this morning that in order to cut the grass I moved the bird table to a completely different position, and have left it there.

    Her reply:

"I do hope the birds don't get confused!"

    There is more!

Mrs DAG said this morning that the regular pigeon landed where the bird table was, and looked confused (her words not mine) looked around and then flew off to the table at the new position!

So perhaps I should appologise to the birds? :D :D :D

There was a guy with 3 eyes, no arms and only one leg. He needed to get home. He found a taxi and asked the driver if he could have a drive home. The taxi driver said'I, I, I, you look armless, hop in'. :D

[IMG] When I browse through Gardening Humour thread it is guaranteed there will be something to make me smile - but the thing that often amuses me most is the spelling throughout GC.
Some things are obviously typing errors and what does it matter anyway on a gardening site!

Sorry if some do not agree but any word spelt incorrectly in any subject at school had to be written out many times. Those were the days? :D

(Perhaps that is why I chose my signature. :D )

p.s. had to edit to correct a spelling mistake

Hi jjordie, I expect your looking out at the rain today like me, and need a bit of cheer?

I know what you mean by other people's spelling mistakes, I like it when people often put 'no' when they mean 'know'! :D At the same time, I mutter, when I spot a mistake of mine! :D :D

Mrs DAG is still keeping an eye on the local birds! These are my instructions to give to the birds ( as if I am responsible for them?): - small birds are all very welcome especially robins - medium birds are ok but keep to the LHS of the garden - Terry(territorial)the resident blackbird and family very welcome - The recent family of pigeons are now welcome and like to bathe in the upper pond. As they get on with all the other's, she will overlook their bad toilet habits! - magpies YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!

Any magpie who dares to look back will be turned into a pillar of salt! :D :D

All this BTW is deadly serious!!! ;) ...barking mad or what? :D

    [IMG] Hi DAG
Rain? What rain? We've had a lovely warm sunny day. :D

You seem to have quite an assortment of birds - quite entertaining aren't they?

If I had a pound for everytime someone spelt definitley with an a in it as in definately I could go on a world cruise by now (grumpy old man)
I never have and never will use text spelling, it must confuse young kids today to learn two ways of "spelling" words.
Cloudy and cool all day ... spring? [IMG]

I've been spelling it both ways strongy, knew it didn't look right with an a, but it didn't look right with an i, either.
By the way, spring is about to start.......I think. :D

maybe if we left the A after the I we could be defiant about being definate and never be unsure about being definite again. :D
