Gorgeous @Busy-Lizzie. I particularly like the picture of the trees reflected in that tranquil pool

Hampton Court Castle Gardens near Leominster are amongst our favourites. The wisteria walk is beautiful and should be in its full glory now I think.

Not very good photos, but, I like it there. IMG_20240505_153424798.jpg

I did take more, but, I'm a bit more shaky than I'd like to be. Anyhow, it gives us an excuse to return - and enjoy the chocolate orange cake!!

There is nothing wrong with those pictures @RowlandsCastle. The bottom tree looks ancient and you can tell which way the prevailing wind blows.

                Thank you @Ladybird4
I nearly always take three or four photos of each view I want. Sometimes more. I took quite a few out today - just two were good enough to keep. Shaky, wonky skyline, and in one case, missed the target completely as I accidentally pressed the button that takes a photo of the photographer!!
                Oops!

We rented a boat on the Norfolk Broads today, with my son DIL and their 5 small children. It was a lovely sunny day.

I used to love sailing with my friend's family on the Broads when I was younger. It can be busy and quite chaotic at the height of the summer but there are always lesser known and more tranquil spots if you know where to find them.

Beautiful area with incredibly diverse wildlife. It's also the only place where I've seen kingfishers.

@Busy-Lizzie, glorious pictures - thank you for sharing them with us. It looks incredibly peaceful. One thing is for sure, those small people are having the experience of a lifetime and that powerful memory will stay with them always.
