    Yes -who knows.

There was a lot to see there, apart from gardens. So you must have had a wonderful time Shiney. The Amalfi drive, the coast road from Sorrento to Amalfi and beyond was quite spectacular, and very narrow - often single track, clinging onto the side of the mountain with spectacular sea views. I am glad I wasn't driving. We went in our coach to Amalfi along this road but came back a very different way, via an inland motorway to Naples. Only later did we learn that for buses at least its a huge one way system, which must have been 60 to 100 miles long.

The one way system comes in during high season for all traffic and mid-season for buses/coaches. In the winter it's, anything goes.

Last time we were there we stayed in Amalfi for Christmas. It was a wonderful time with all their traditional Christmas celebrations.

This time we weren't there long as we were touring a lot of historical and ancient sites. We did Sicily, Israel (Jerusalem, Galilee and the Golan Heights), Cyprus, Rhodes, Malta, Gozo and a few other places. We need a holiday now :heehee:
