Garlic not storing very well

      If not first removing all green bits, check whether it'ts too bitter for your taste (after cooking) as they'll be difficult to remove after immersing in oil.

        Thanks both @Scrungee and @NigelJ all now minus the green shoots and in oil. Hope your Rhino greenhouse is on it's way to you Nigel. The glazing system with no hellish W type clips is a huge improvement to my mind. No drafts and much much easier to keep clean if you are going for the larger panes than 2x2s

        That may have been the cause of sprouting, cold triggers Garlic sprouting, they need to be stored somewhere cool. Google 'garlic storage temperature'.
