Thank you Kandy. He is beautiful and I tell him so every day.

I think I must finally write his story and put it up here for everyone to read, how we brought him from Portugal up here in the car, ..............

Thank you Gogs. Your Bobby is bigger than Gato, who has gotten thinner with age, but he's put on a bit again TG.

When I (finally!!!!!!!!) get a job again some photo's are whizzing their way to Rosa. Something I've always wanted and she captures them perfectly.

    Gato looks great. [IMG]

    Nothing lasts forever

Last Wednesday we had to let our darling Gato go up to Cats Heaven.

Although he looked well, and the vet verified this, his kidneys had stopped working and it would have only been a matter of days before he suffered great pain. As difficult as it was for us, we only had the one choice, and that was to spare him this and give him an easy end.

He is buried next to our other four cats -

First there was Sammy Cheng, a loveable seal-point Siamese with a will of his own.

Then came the twins, Mingo and Tonto, also seal-point Siamese and both of them perfect gentlemen.

Next came Greyhound, a British Blue, another people-lover like Tonto.

Now there is Gato, a tabby European Short Hair. He was an orphan and we brought him back from Portugal over 15 years ago.

    Gato, we miss you. xx

    Hi Sis

I'm finding this difficult. As you know, we fed Gato as an abandoned orphan before you guys arrived here and then took him home with you, so there was always a special closeness.

KG,I just can't believe this terribly sad news on the passing of your dear cat Gato.Who would have known looking at all these fantastic photo's of your little darling that he was not going to be here much longer.

At least your gave him 15 wonderful years and even though his passing must be a terrible shock to you all your family at least he will suffer no more and you have all those wonderful memories of him.

I think he has gone to be with Candi, your sisters lovely little cat and now they can both play together over the Rainbow Bridge and keep each other company.

    Our thoughts are with you

Love from Mr & Mrs Kandy,Willow and Poppy :( [IMG]
