GC Meet - Sunday 13th July @ Bressingham Gardens

I said, above, that parking is in the garden centre car park but there may be room in the gardens car park at that time. When you go in the entrance, the garden centre is on the left and the gardens are on the right. Coaches tend to use the first part of the gardens car park so we should be able to get up near the entrance - if we're lucky.

Don't forget to bring any plant swaps that you may have organised .

We'll probably be taking sandwiches but the gardens have a very reasonably priced café with light snacks - pies, jacket pots, cake etc. The garden centre has a restaurant with some hot meals and typical garden centre prices.

For the steam enthusiasts - the trains run from where the café is and the steam roundabout is opposite the café. The roundabout is well over 100 years old and still has the original steam organ. So, if you want to act your shoe size you can have a go!

Just in case anyone is late I suggest we head for the 'Foggy Bottom' garden first. This is at the far end of the gardens and I guess we shall be taking it slowly as we chat to each other. It's a separate gated entry garden and should be fairly easy to find us. It's fairly big but there are some long walks where people should be visible.

As mentioned before, the garden centre is just a bog standard Wyevale but Bressingham Gardens have a mail order business that sells plants from the garden. Info here:-
