Roll your left trouser leg up and hop up the street, and throw a bucket of water over the first person you meet.

Other than that, just wait as the plant will grow them itself...

just tried that and now I have police talking about sectioning me, thanks!! lol jk. seriously though there's nothing I can do to encourage it to root, as all but 1 of my plants stems have snapped and I'm concerned it will affect the pumpkins growing. so far though at hasn't made a bit of difference being snapped

Well predictably my first little pumpkin has faded as it didn't get pollinated and frustratingly :gaah: I've got no end of female flowers opening on all 4 plants but just one male so far and that wasn't at the same time as an open female one  , I keep checking a couple of times a day to try and catch them both open at the same time and then I'll self-pollinate :)

In past years there's always been dozens of male flowers and just a handful of female :rolleyespink:

Might be worth putting a few male flowers in the fridge. Don't know how long the pollen will keep but better than not having any.

I shouldn't worry too much about pollination really. This is the time of year I usually plant mine (as the first early spuds are coming up), there is still plenty of time left yet.

          Steve...:)

Thanks Steve, I did manage to get quite a bit of pollen out of a male flower that faded yesterday and put it in a female that opened today, so fingers crossed :)

Its just strange that so far this year my plants are bucking the usual trend and producing loads of female flowers and just 2 male flowers so far!!!

So been up today and removed the cover so that the plant can spread out
And put some fleece under pupkin to protect it a bit
