    I've got a Courgette outside all day and night, seems to be fairing well. The flyaway gets a lot of sun throughout the day. I think I might go for it starting next weekend.

    I now have a plant growing (finaly :) )

    Couple of doses of magic feed and it will be off and running, catching you lot up...:snork:

            If you sow some now they should germinate with a week, and with the warmer weather will be ready to plant out by mid July. Any later than now is pushing your luck :dbgrtmb:

            ok thanks. seeds should arrive by next Thursday so hopefully that's not too late. The photo comparison above that you posted looks allot like my seedlings. I also planted some butternut squashes and they look even worse.

            The one on the left and the middle germinated on a window sill and the one on the right germinated in the fly away. Planted same day.

            The two from the window sill are quite leggy and would fall over without the aid of the sides of the pot propping them up. Is there anything I can do to help? Add more compost?

            When should I feed them?

                    Just looked back through my calendar and the latest I've ever sown pumpkins was 9th June, that was in 2009 and I have a photo of a couple of good sized pumpkins by Halloween in that year. Not prize winning sized but good for carving.
