Lori Happy New Year, they are such nice words, you sound lovely Pompey Lil seems quite rough in comparison
Pompey Lil is nice though sometimes I have my doubts as she only meets me, when I have paid off and have my three months pay, and when it is gone (very quickly) her Mum is always ill and she has to go away again before I sail

Wotcha everyone! Happy New Year to all my friends here on GC.

Just got back home, both sets of neighbours still have parties in full swing, so doesn't look like it's worth going to bed yet.

Hope you've all been behaving yourselves. I'm still a bit peckish, anyone got some of those cheesy balls?

I laid off the booze this evening, been drinking lots of Pepsi instead to keep me awake. Got Dave Pearce playing dance music on the radio and I'm buzzing!

Mrs Trunky has retired for the night. Lightweight.

 

@Beckie76 Oh Beckie, you do not know the torment Pompey Lil gives me
When I am at sea she never writes even one letter, but she is there on the dockside, as soon as we dock, and walks with me to the pay office, she truly adores me, links arms and kisses
We then go to the town, and buy all the clothes I have not given her for a few months, and cough the first night she is wonderful, but she seems to be a bit off after that and always some family member is not well or in need of a large sum of money, so I often help out
The last time we cashed my pay cheque and she had to go immediately to London, on urgent family business, she never got back before we sailed, another lonely three months

Still she is here at our party supporting me

Neighbours are still going at it hammer and tongs, they appear to be all out in the garden having some sort of shouting contest at present. @Beckie76 you could probably hear them from yours if you stuck your head out the door.
