Mine is OK. I have a 19" squarish screen (12" high and 15" wide) with only three eighths of an inch of sky either side. I don't have that bar at the bottom that shows the percentage but I seem to remember being told on here how to increase the width of the screen. The type face is quite large - upper case letters are 50mm and lower case 35mm.

I really can't remember how it was done but seem to think I had to hold down one key whilst pressing the + or -

I'm sure one of our computer bods should be able to advise.

    Hi Sheal,
It could be to do with your screen resolution.. Have you gone to your "control panel" on your pc,, select Control panel..
    Appearance & themes..
    Screen resolution..
Mine is set high & on Landscape..

Scrungee, I tried what you posted but all it did was make everything bigger. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

Thanks Marley, I've changed the screen resolution and it's made GC wider, but hasn't altered the length for scrolling. :)

Sheal if this only happens when you are on the internet are you using Firefox or chrome.?
If you are then maybe they are the cause & if you un-instal it & re-instal it may solve it.. Only it sounds like it is a browsing problem your end..
