Come down here, there's a few tractors and trailors which are being driven on the public highway with no lights in the dark

 

There are lots of squashed cyclists and pedestrians this side of the pond because we have the opposite problem. They all seem to opt for dark clothing and it is hard to see them.

 

Same here. There seems to be two extremes, with very few occupyingthe middle ground. They are either invisible as you say, or they make themselves and everything else temporarily invisible by blinding everyone with their improperly adjusted anti aircraft search lights.

 

People who spit out their chewing gum on to the pavement firstly that's disgusting secondly it looks awful & thirdly someone else has to clean the paths because others are too lazy to put their chewing gum in the bin!
This is a major problem in Bury St Edmunds, a few years ago the council actually bought a special device to remove chewing gum from the pavements!

 

Those guided missiles that come at you in the high street .... too busy with their heads down, texting and walking at the same time!

If I see that somebody is on a head on collision course for me and they either aren't watching where they are going, or worse, they've clearly seen me but expect me to get out of their way, I just brace for impact and keep walking. If they look like they're going to allow me to pass, then I too will give way, but no courtesy means collision.

 

I get so cross when I send someone a message/text/whatsap/email & they don't reply to my question & I end up having to ring them, when it's not necessary!

 

I hate it when it takes ten texts and an hour to finally get the details that a two minute telephone conversation would have gleaned.

 

I hate it when friends give you reason to worry about them, but then don't reply to any contact attempts. Then after a couple of weeks, they finally emerge, and say things like 'sorry, my head wasn't in the right space'. Pure self indulgent thoughtlessness is what that is.
