Geezers random..

I believe in ghosts. I've seen em.

Or if there's nothing supernatural, then there must be telepathy or something, because I've had brief but perfectly clear visions of things, then it's happened. Not deja vue, but actual warnings of stuff.

Example. One night I couldn't get to sleep, because every time I started to drift off, I'd suddenly be driving my car. I'd be at a major junction. Three lanes going my way, two going the other way, and four crossing the lot. I was in lane 2 because lane 1 breaks off to go somewhere else. There is a queue in front of me. Lane 1 is clear. I realise I can take lane 1. It will add a bit onto my journey but probably still quicker than dealing with the traffic jam. I check my left hand mirror. It's clear. I indicate then check again, still clear. So I pull out, and that's when the speeding Ford transit pickup appears, broadsides me, and I wake up instantly.

I had this vision loads of times that night, waking up instantly at the moment of impact.

Next morning, having forgotten the vision for now, I set off for work. Found a massive traffic jam at the massive junction, and decided to go the long way round. Lane 1 was clear. I went to pull out. I'd picked up the revs and was actually letting the clutch up when I remembered the vision that had plagued me the night before. I pushed the clutch back down again even though I could see nothing coming. I had another look, and suddenly out of nowhere came a speeding white transit pickup. Had I not suddenly remembered the vision after my first mirror check, I would have taken 3.5 tonnes of high speed steel straight at me.

 

Ok, be honest. We all love it when they get it wrong sometimes .
