Fair point, but the 58 seats would have made a hell of a difference when it comes to some of the decisions that will be taken in Westminster that are for England - particularly if the SNP are not allowed to vote on English matters.

      Agreed.

But with a majority, albeit small, they would be probably still have got them through.

@Anthony Rogers, sorry, not sure who you are directing your question at? I think they have destroyed it by letting too many people use it!!

It's aimed at everyone who keeps saying that the Conservatives are aiming to destroy and privatise the NHS on purpose.

All the problems we have around Worcestershire stem from the last 2 Labour governments.

They shut every A&E in the county leaving just the Worcester Royal, this now means that almost 500,000 people depend on 1 A&E dept. Yes, I agree that is too many people using it but of whose making was this problem.

Worcester hospital is situated in the countryside. During the day we can get a train to the city and then have to make our own way. Any other time or for evening visiting hrs we have to get a taxi there and back which costs around £65/70.

Just for balance, the 'Tories' recently shut down Frenchay Hospital, the largest in Bristol.

Yes, we still have two major hospitals within 10 miles, but you'd expect a city the size of Bristol to be better served. Bear in mind, it's not just the local population that use them, they come from all over the country. For instance, they have a specialist burns unit, or they did, before they shut down Frenchay.
