    Good looking cars Cuttings. :dbgrtmb:

We had the Triumph for three or four years but rearing three youngsters at the time, and it sapping our bank account to keep it in good condition, it had to go unfortunately.

Don't know if showed these here or not, but I got a DA polisher not so long ago and gave mine a going over with the Meguairs pack - absolutely stunning results:

Daily - although, it does get grimy occasionally, but then what is the point in having it if you are not going to use it and keep it looking as nice as you can. Mid-winter, it will look awful, I am sure.

WOW! Car talk. Back in the 1960's and at the time being a traffic cop. Soory boss, but perhaps at times I was a naughty boy. In the job, we, or should I say the Job used many different cars. I had owned a Wolseley 6/80. Then in the Job I met with the Wolsely 6/90 also the Jags. The Mk 2 one of which I later owned. The Jag 3.8 etc. All great cars. Then came the biguns. Wolsely's 6/110 the Austin Westminster, the 6/99 and so on. It was great fun whilst in the job. A quick stop and chat to the driver of a new car. Hey, what's it like? Great! take it for a spin...Thanks. A close friend had a Triumph 2000. Great car. Really hugged the road and very responsive. Then the Rover series. I think these, the P6 series were great. They wre low and fast and comfortable.

Never had the pleasure of the Wolselys, but another I would not say no to. As for Rover, I have wanted an SD1 since I was a kid.

Would love a P6, the V8 one, never a big fan of the SD1 though, I would like a Gordon Keeble, but cannot afford one, and they come on the market once bin a blue moon. Wouldn't mind a mini 1275gt but they cost a bomb as well.going back to the Gordon Keeble, british styling with 5.5L yank v8, found this one for sale in the UK on a yank website.

That is actually pretty decent to be fair - the tyres on the XJ were £180-ish a corner, and this XF is around £130 a corner.
