Geranium Maderense

Yes, I did, it's a pretty variety too. I hope my seedlings [very slow, just starting to get second leaves but tiny] will smell as strongly.

 

Its a different scent to capensis and possibly a more interesting plant to look at, worth looking for, it was only �£3.99

 

They grow unprotected in the Isles of Scilly and ramble all over the place extending themselves. I've tried at home, but never manage to keep them.

 

Yes I would imagine so, they are OK just frost free.

 

The warm weather has moved them on a bit more now.

 

Lovely - but how have you supported them? - Mine tend to flop forward onto the path.

 

They are self supporting Fran, the old leaf stalks bend down and support the stem.
I'm not sure but I think its only Maderense and Anemonifolium (palmatum) that does this.
