Getting rid of bamboo roots

    I just read that article, and some of the comments mention something called SKB, which when applied to the stem, once the skin of the plant has been scraped, the diluted solution kills it down to the root. Also useful for Mare's Tail and Brambles.

    Hi @groundbeetle I think that's SBK brushwood killer - the active ingredient is triclopyr. It's pretty good but as you say, needs to get to the "growing bits". For Japanese knotweed, I cut off stems and inject into hollow centre. That might be possible with bamboo too.
