I appreciate your thoughts, pete, and thank you for them. All these plants are new to me so that's why I need you guys.

From my garden centre friend, I understand they just pot on and pot on from babe status.

Mentioning, that ... Hi, Babe ... from the pics, can you tell what it is ... or am I putting you on a spot?

In all honesty I don't know. It looks like lots of stuff I have seen, and much of whats already been suggested. I can't tell from the picture, is it trunked ?

What? Like an elephant? I'll have to go and ask them so we all will know what this monster beauty is! Monday perhaps.

You are correct, yet again, pete. Well done, clever clogs. It's an S augusta and costs 2,590 Euros (£2,000). I decided against buying it because it would require a rather large hole in the ground!

I did buy two more yellow Lotus berthelotti, three Portulaca grandifloras and a Meyer Lemon for our dearly departed sweet tart. Note to self ... must stop buying plants.

PS That's supposed to say 2,950 Euros.

LoL, it looks similar to the GC my brother took me to near Hania in Crete last October just to make me jealous. I could have spent all day there not just half an hour. [IMG]

I can't believe you only spent half an hour in such a place, strongy ... I would have protested! That's why there are cafe's in them ... so you can wander at your leisure, stop and relax for a while, contact your friends at GC and relatives on the net and tell them all about the wonderful things available .... There is a good outside section to this place as well.
