        The bugs spread to here too..gooseberry and jostaberry in the demijon and wilkos crisp n fruity at back :)

          The ginger wine sort of 'stalled' for a few days after being transferred into the demijohns, so we decided to move them to a slightly less shady part of the living room (still not in direct sunlight) and that seems to have given them the kick they needed as they are gurgling away quite frequently now.

          The liquid appears to be getting darker if that means anything?

            Thanks @fat controller ,i can take the credit for the shade of it as i picked,top and tailed it,i used 2lb gooseberry & 1lb jostaberry :) but daz has done the rest,i just hold the sieves and muslin in place :) Im learning slowly :blue thumb:
            I will have a bash myself at plum wine when my plums are ready :)..if i know what to do by then!:heehee:

            Im slowly getting used to the bubbling noises in the living room as theres no other rooms with space and in the shade...... Does anyone use their sheds? or are stable temps required?

              Well its 9 month on and ive tried the gooseberry wine, its has a brandy and taste smell to me :noidea:and seems strong,now tonight ive tried the jostaberry/gooseberry and that is nicer,sweeter,easier to drink to me :) :dancy:
