Do we detect a wistful thought there @mazambo ? That`s not quite as good as a pond is it
If you put up some kind of secure fence and arbor etc - you could keep the little ones out ??
Just a thought ....

 

To be honest Tetters at the time looking after the pond was becoming a chore, I think I've realised in all walks of life not just gardening if something that was enjoyable becomes a chore it's time for a change.

 

A change is as good as a rest - so me granny used to say

 

, always late to the party (sorry )
The greenhouse will be great for insect loving annuals next year, you will love it

I think my pond building days are over, have to do with sound of running water from my water feature, but at my age running water means frequent toilet trips
