Bit of a panic today, one of the buyers phoned up the estate agents convinced that she'd never be able to sell a timber framed house as it wasn't mortgageable, despite me telling them that I have got a mortgage on it.

I got busy scanning documents to prove it, but then couldn't find where the scan had gone to on my computer, in the meanwhile her Hubby came across The Ecology Building Society while he was surfing the net & decided to give them a ring to see if they would consider a mortgage on such a property.

After them asking a few questions they turned round and said they would give an offer of mortgage on such a property, subject to status, and then said they currently are mortgaging the property as Ziggy is one of their customers

Panic over.
