What can I say - 'WOW' - the transformation is absolutely amazing and all those many varieties of plants - love it!

Glad you like it. It's not like a "normal" garden, is it?
Unfortunately weed seeds howl with delight when they blow in. No lawn mower to behead them, you see! :) :) Eventually when everything fills in, there shouldn't be too much room for vagrant weeds, I hope.

My goodness! What a compliment, Bilbo. The photographs show it in too good a light.
You are very welcome to visit it. I always take on board, advice.
I want to re-do the bottom bit, which is a wildlife haven. Unfortunately that'll take almost a complete week to re-do and as I work all the time (no holidays) I'll have to wait til I retire in 2 years time to do it. :( :(

Three quarters or one ton limestone boulder placed alongside pond.

More detail on the Arid Section under the glazed pergola next to the pond.

Aeoniums, Evecherias, Cacti, Yucca Gloriosas, Agaves, Sempervivums. (All these plants stay outside all winter.)

½ of mound ground cover is Delosperma Cooperii, the other half is Sempervivum. Unfortunately sparrows keep unearthing a lot of the Sempervivums, sending them tumbling rosette over arse down to the bottom of the mound. The plastic owl has been put there recently as a deterrent.

              Beschornerias.

              Other side.

Lampranthus. (Dug it up recently from another position. Plonked it here where it looked as though it had given up the ghost but is now coming back. :) )

              Chamaerops Humilis.

As you can see, pics were taken when it was raining but it stays dry under the pergola.

Here's some very poor quality vids taken in August on my phone. (I've never videoed anything before and it shows. Do better next time. I promise. :) )
