I had issues with Chrome but freezing wasn't one of them. I gave up on it at went back to IE.

Chrome is better for the personal user. I wouldnt use it at work personally because a lot of business websites seem to support IE best.

Chrome is fast and I have several extensions installed to make life a little easier. Just beware though that if you log into your account on someone elses computer using chrome then its going to remember all your settings by default, your search/browsing history, login details for sites. Remember to log out if using another persons computer :)

I scrapped Google Chrome and went back to Firefox and fingers crossed had no more problems since. As soon as I uninstalled it got a message from Google in a message box with questions asking why,one of them was "was your computer freezing" no reply from my answer.

Google Chrome and Opera are fine for me. Adittionaly I think Opera is better for browsing more cards and takes less resources. Chrome is perfect for youtube, music etc. Never use IE tho

Chrome does occasionally freeze for me but only if I have 25 plus tabs open at the same time. If I have that many open it is because I am looking for something to buy and those kind of sites tend to be advert heavy so I put it down to Adblock plus working overtime as well as Chrome.
