What hard shoulder?

 

I only have my phone with me when I go out, its always on, now if I hear the Gov Alarm so be it, not bothered either way to be honest.

 

We built a cold store that will double up as a nuclear shelter quite handily. All the conserves, fruit and veg and, most importantly, the wine are stored there So is our ancient camping gear, including a portaloo. Must remember to stock it with a few bottles of water and some cat food

 

When the first nuclear bomb goes off I hope and pray it is right above my house.

 

I hope so too. You live miles away from me so if it goes off at your house I should be ok

I was waiting by my moblie to wait for the said alert, well my phone didn't ring vibate so i'm not important enough

 

I didn't get it either, I thought it was at 3pm.

 

They're talking about it on the radio. Loads of people didn't get it.

We were in Tesco when it happened. I made sure I was right in the middle of the shop so I could witness the chaos. I was disappointed. Such a feeble alert. No chaos. It was a bit of an anticlimax.

Good job they have tested it, as it obviously doesn't work.
Probably set up by the now defunked "test and trace" department.
