Grass cut too short ...

    I leave mine on medium all the time as well. In the lawn section we have had a couple of pro lawn doctors giving advice. They always say never cut the lawn too short . As an example , my neighbour always tries to cut his front lawn as close as a bowling green. This causes all sorts of problems he develops big dead patches as the season progresses . He is 88 and won't listen to a young pup , 24 years younger , like me :biggrin:

      I always have a fair bit of moss in my front lawn, it's impossible to get rid of so I cut that a notch higher than the back lawn. I have five adjustments on my mower so use a two and three during the dryer part of the season.
