Dai, the next batch are now ready to be planted but I`m going away this weekend so it`ll have to be early next week. The two that I cut through originally are making slow progress, but growing (they snapped off....remember?). The rest are now starting to heart up and looking great, probably the best I`ve ever grown ! (fingers crossed) Cheers...freddy.

Right. The new batch of cabbages (3 of each - control/cut) are planted out. Only one problem, the plants dried out while I was away even though I watered them well before I left :( (they were in pots) At least they didn`t topple over after I cut them :) Sorry Dai, seems like things keep working against me. Anyway, fingers crossed they`ll still perform. Cheers...freddy.

Progress report: So far, nothing to choose between them. All are around 9" high. The cut ones healed up pretty quickly and showed no ill-effects at any time. Cheers...freddy.
