Ground Cover Plant

    Jesaya are the clumps joined with runners if they are then it's creeping buttercup as john and liz says.

    Ireally hope it isn't the creeping buttercup, but it looks just like mine and mine doesn't have patches either. More pics if you look for 'creeping buttercup' on Google images.

    jesaya, check out G. endressii and G. wallichianum.

    Yep I agree with the others it's a weed! get rid either pull it up or use a translocated herbicide which will go through the leaves to the roots.

    I don't think it's creeping buttercup, as I do have a bit of it growing in the patio gaps which I don't mind, I find it quite easy to control too.

    They look more like geranium leaves to me, so it will be quite interesting to see which one you have.

    Leaves look a bit like a Grape leaf Anemone,stand corrected if i'm wrong.

    I think they could be Japanese Anemone,but havn't checked with the one that Gogs has suggested,so her answer may be the correct one [​IMG]
