Had some shocking news........Now some Good....!!!!!!!!

Yes there will be many questions asked afterwards I'm sure......but as usual, answers (well truthful ones anyway) don't often come out of the mouths of any politicians.

 

marley so sorry to hear your news ,we are hoping she cant get to a phone as the lines to all phones and mobiles are down .no news is good news praying for you all keep your chin up we are all thinking of you

Life is cruel Marley and I get to the point where the news upsets me so much that I avoid watching it at times. The only thing that reinforces my faith in human nature is the extraordinary lengths people will go to help others in need. Thank heavens for people who selflessly put their own lives on hold to make a difference to other peoples lives. Where would we be without people like your friend?
I wish we could do more, I am thinking there will be requests for clothes donations etc through Oxfam. It would be lovely to make up boxes like we did when the boys were in cubs. A box filled with things for the children who have lost everything.

 

Gosh, I came over all blubbery when you yelled that she was okay. Fantastic news - what a relief after such a worrying time. Her family must be fainting with relief.

 

Yes you are right Marley. I just watched a very moving programme about the children of Haiti. Those poor little things.

 

I would just like to applaude all the people who devote their lives to helping others.

They are very special, selfless people.

Words alone can not praise them enough.
