I wish it was as simple as that, I have had Whooping Cough been ill just under 4 weeks, all clear now had the tests back from the Doctor Wednesday its just the after effects and the lack of sleep :xmasgrin:.

Ok, forget Vic: hot toddies!! If it doesn't cure the residual cough, it will knock you off your feet so you at least sleep!

After 10 hours of driving that should have been 5, arriving home to my warm house to see my wife chilling in front of the telly while the lad played with his toys.

I saw other things on my extended drive that made the above all the more meaningful.

 

I've been affected by two serious incidents on the M6 this week, both meant my journey was hell but at least I got home safely, unlike some poor sods this week. Totally understand your post

My uncle used to say he was happy when he opened the local paper at the obituary column and didn't see his own name in it
