Happy Birthday JWK

Thank you all for my happy birthday wishes.

I had a lovely day surrounded by family and hangers-on, with many detailed enquiries as to the contents of my will and health. I enjoyed having the bumps, one or two joints were dislocated but nothing that won’t mend by next year.

Clare, as you know I don’t get out much these days, so am very worried to hear you mention “the Queen”, please don’t tell me that the King has gone, I’m not quite over the shock of his brother’s abdication.

On a brighter note Mrs JWK said I don’t look a day over 95 so I’m happy about that.

Yes I did get a telegram, which amazed me, how did they know? My great-great-nephew suggested the new forum software has a birthday RSS status notification feed to a royalty aggregator, I’ve no idea what he meant but it sounded very nice.

Kristen, you cheeky young whipper snapper, I’ll get my helper to write to you in the strongest terms, informing you that I get out of bed every day at 10pm sharp for my evening snifter followed by exercise, which consists of standing up for the national anthem and watching the white dot on the television for at least 5 minutes before retiring again.

Wow!!! You must look younger than me as Mrs shiney says that I am looking my age . I've already asked for my card from Her Maj but have to wait three and a half years.
