Thanks everyone.

We've been away in the Lake District for a week and had a lovely time. Good weather (only two days when we had a bit of rain), good walking, good food, and great company. We even stopped at a farm, on our walk where they had a birthday bouncy castle (the lad is nearly seventy years younger than me) and had a cuppa with them.

I have three birthdays each year (greedy, aren't I? ). My GC birthday, the one on my birth certificate and the one on the hospital certificate . According to the hospital certificate (it's a birth registration card that they had in those days ) I'm older than the date on the birth certificate - but who cares? They're only numbers on a bit of paper

You're as young as you feel. Which, for me, varies from 20 to 200 depending on the day (Although Mrs Shiney sometimes says it's nearer 5 some days. )
