    Hello Stingo,
I purchased a "Kashimer White" yesterday very pretty it has sorta pinky veins onnit... the size and habit would be useful as this one also is still in its pot before I decide where to plant it. [IMG]

    Hi Rosietu,
the ultimate size of Geranium Pratense Strictum-"Splish Splash" will be at least Height36"Spread 36".It likes Sun or partial shade and would ideally need well drained soil.
It can flower between June-August, and is fully hardy.

    Hope this helps.

I'll measure it tomorrow rosietu and post a pic, it is lovely and delicate.

Funny you saying that about white flowers Waco but I have a thing about not liking yellow flowers very much, good job we are all different ;)

    Thank you Kandy,
A biggy then....they do vary in size It just seemed a good idea to under plant the Roses as suggested on our site with geraniums, trouble free and easy which is what an old girl like me needs, a beautiful day here today spent all day in my tiny patch got a little singed before downing tools for a glass of nice cold Lager. ;)
Ps, we are very well drained here and sandy being couple of miles from the sea.

    Hi rosietu

    Measured it this morning.
20 inches high and not sure of the spread as it's growing in amongst other flowers, not very invasive though.

It's in part shade/ part sun and is hardy.

will post a pic in a moment.

Waco Yes it's doing really well and I have one little flower on it, I have taken a pic and will post it soon.

rosietu My sons went to King Edwards and you are right the Grammer isn't there anymore, don't think the ice rink is either..

I'm not too far from the Belfry we often go to a pub called The Cock Inn think it's Wishaw.

Such lovely sunshine today but when I came home mid-afternoon my Johnson Blue flowers were drooped and looked almost dead, despite having been well watered. They seemed to recover after the sun had moved round, therefore they were in the shade. Is it best to keep the plant in the shade all the time? and does this apply to all hardy geraniums?
