Waco: It's a sad day when I have to agree with you twice! :D

    First about the white flowers!

Secondly, about the Johnson's Blue!.... Oh dear! :D

The last oneis probably Mrs Kendall Clark.. Great pix!! Computer has been down for a week - and what a week. Wot a scorcher! Geraniums will flag in the heat so water if you can.

It would be interesting to get a name for it, I've never seen it before.

    Maybe it's really rare :D

    Where are you Hornbeam?

Thanks for your lovely comments Waco.

Sorry Stingo. Where have I been?? Watering the garden endlessly! Everything is drooping in the heat and with a hose pipe ban it ain't easy.

Not sure about your geraniums. A good place to look is http://www.marksgardenplants.com/hardy_geraniums.htm Just browse until you find yours, but so many are very similar and leaf shapes can help sort them out.

    [IMG] Sorry for you Hornbeam!
Just spent half hour watering with a hosepipe - no ban here :D

Plants are all wilting so needed a drenching.

Nor here - Anglia Water, - though except for the containers haven't had to use the hosepipe at all. That wet May gave my clay a good soak.

Hardy geraniums are still flowering well despite red hot temperatures, blistering sun and drought. Look what I found among the Johnson Blues - a gorgeous double form :D I bought Geranium pratense Plenum Violaceum in 1993 and it bloomed for a few years and then vanished. Now it has come back all by itself :D
