Have you ever moved house for a garden?

Yes, all the sentimental associations that plants have are important.

But sometimes I think that once the stress of leaving it all behind was done perhaps I would move on and up to pastures new and never give it a second's thought. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between a deeply treasured possession or creation and just, well, baggage.

Or, to put it another way, what do I enjoy most? Passively enjoying something that's already made or actively creating something that's yet to be made?

I don't like feeling mentally old so I should do less looking back at the past and more of looking forward towards the future, even if it is diminishing somewhat.
