[IMG] Well I have got about half of my garden listed now. It seems to be going very smoothly. I have added quite allot of plants to the data base as well. It seems very smooth & easy to use their "add" section. Have found out a few interesting things about some of my plants I didn't know about in the pest & dieases section when I have loaded them into the data base. Very informative & usefull. :D How about all of you???? [IMG]

    [IMG] Hi paladin,
I think the only reason you may not have had it back is they have been doing some work on the site as they launched the retail pages last week. Send them an email & rattle their cage. I am really enjoying the site, hope you do too..! :D

Some e-mail hosting sites (such as Yahoo etc.) put automated replies into your bulk mail folder so make sure you check that as well if you have one.

[IMG] I know what you mean Palustris, but I also know that I don't have anywhere near the plants you have. I just keep thinking it will be one hell of a database by the time we have all finished...!! :D Glad you are sorted out now too Paladin.. :D

Yes, I joined late last night. Got e-mail back within 10 minutes. Didn't dare look very hard at the site at that hour as I thought it could take some time!!

    Hi all,

This is Nicola from shoot. Thanks for all your interest - it is fantastic!

If Nick Knight is a member, I have had several emails bounce back from your email account. I was writing to say that we have added some of the plants you wanted to the database, including:

Skimmia Olympic Flame, Verbascum Helen Johnson,
Weigela Florida Varigata, Rose Winchester Cathedral, Rose Happy Birthday, Rambling Rose Wedding Bells, Peiris Little Heath, Hydrangea Lime light, Hedera helix Peter Pan and Hebe x andersonii Varigata.

    Hope this finds you.

    All the best, Nicola

Hi all, I hope Nicola won't mind, I had this post from her in answer to query of mine- I am amazed that it is self-funded! Good hint about adding plants?

"If you have a lot of plants to add, why not send me a list with them by
email (in excel or word). We are certainly getting a lot, and it will take
some time to get them all in for everyone. I think there are about 20,000
we could add! As long as they are useful for you, happy to do it though.

I am self-funded, so hope one day to make some money back! I figure if I
make it a compelling and interesting site for people, that will happen at
some point. Rolling out the payment systems soon, and will begin charging
    in the next few weeks.

Also gearing up to 'press launch' which we haven't done yet, so if you
know any gardening media please let me know?

    All the best Nicola
    "

    Hi Folks
All sounds very interesting, however I have tried to access the site several times and after taking ages to load it comes up with an error message so can't get to view it! All your comments sound very tantalising! Any ideas?

[IMG] Well I have just been there with no problems.. It is just 2.55.. I have had a problem once before & it has turned out that they had been working on the site. Try googling the name it opens that way... Do you have the page marked in favourites??
