Im still using the HDR trial software.. Im to tight to buy it as yet!
I Have been working on another three images of the same church and I believe the colours are far more vibrant in this next picture.

:thumb: Oh yes, much richer colours Robert & more detail to the stained glass, I like that but you seem to have lost some of the detail in the stonework... This is what I am finding difficult.. Striking the right balance..!! Then again, that is what it is all about isn't it, balance..! I am off to have another go a minute now....:D I shall stick with the free software until I can convince myself in need to spend the money..!!;):D

I think you've over cooked it a bit there Robert. The grass looks a bit like astro-turf although the church looks good.

Come on Marley - lets see one!

What a pair of cheapskates - still using the free software;):D:D

Looking at the grass in the fresh light of another day I have to agree with your comments.

The last one is by far the best.
Number 1 is also good, but a little too dark.

From looking at these,i dont think you've a long way to go.All three images are good. ;)
    Well done.

:thumb: Thanks Joe, number three was my favourite out of them.. I found it is very easy to make them too dark, but you don't really see it until you take another look later..!!:D Will have another go later..

Well done Marley - a great start!
Number 3 gets my vote, but I'd like to see it just a tiny shade lighter - somewhere between 2 and 3.

I'm a bit unsure about this one Robert. As a subject I think it's got a lot of potential - the black stone and white water. I found the dark trees at the left a bit distracting.

I wouldn't even consider doing this in hdr.
Unless it was like it on the original, the hdr has blown out all the water which imho, ruins a picture totally.
I havn't seen the original, but i think i would have just used the normal imaging software to do the work, thus keeping the blow outs to a minimum.
