HD Pictures

Well captured Dave. Thats just lifted it using a bit HDR

 

Here's another from today but with a bit more HDR. The boat's got a bit of blur due to the fact that I'd forgotten my tripod and was using a longish zoom:dh:
Kept hoping the swans would move closer, but they wouldn'!

Must have been a bit of movement on the boat, as the reeds look good.
Its amazing how far objects can move in the time to takes to bracket three pictures!
The more I look at your picture Dave the more I like it.

 

Just home from 5 days on the island of Mull. One of the reasons we went to Mull was to try to photograph sea otters. Spent ages and miles looking with no success. Went out one night for a bar meal, looked over a bridge about 20 yards from where we were pitched and lo and behold - a young sea otter about 15 feet away. Of course I'd left the **** camera behind!

This has been given a light touch of HDR as it was a bit dull.

That bridge is a really striking image WOO. Super contrast between the dark sky and light on the water and bridge. Very effective use of HDR!

 

These are looking good.
I must get back to doing some more.
Seem to be so busy these days in my little garden.

I rather like that Robert. How about trying a mono version?

Process for this one is:
1...3ximages +1EV 0EV -1EV
2...HDR Process
3...Greyscale
4...minor lift using curves.
Resulting tonal range is almost 100%

Woo - I really like your mono image a lot , it's rather like a lithograph print or pencil drawing.

Robert - I think I prefer your mono version over the full colour one as it seems to reflect the age and decay better. A very subjective judgement though!
