Its all smelly soap at the continental market in York.
    Nice, if a touch expensive.

I like the second version a lot, apart from the nice vintag-ey look of the sepia, I think itenfasize the soft back light, nice!

Violets are used for all sorts ofthings in parma, perfume, soaps and stuff, they are nice sugared and dried, or fresh in cookies and cakes. :)

I rather like the contemporary semi-sepia effect. When I was a kid I had a set of postcards of WWII aircraft and it reminds me of them.

I like the angle of shot, and i like the sepia.
I dont though see a need for hdr on this. There is no detail to bring out that isnt already there.

    Go for it Joe.
Truth is I was playing with HDR with several images to get a better feel for the HDR/PS process and this was the resulting image.
I feel am I gettting to grips with it all and am now making the effort to shoot 3xEV images as a possible HDR subject.
Just glad my panasonic has an auto braketing mode thats fires off three quick shots, only limitation is its -1EV 0EV +EV. It will do for now.

I know nothing about photography, but I know when I like something and I think your photo's great Dave. It has a 3D effect which makes it look fab.:thumb: 02

I've been raking through the archive looking for more candidates for HDR.

    Dave.
Works for me with the first picture. did you finish of in PS high pass?
Second one does not quite do it for me. Think I prefer a darker overhaul image

Yes Robert both got sharpened using high pass in PS.

Is this a bit nearer your taste?
